Here is the kick-off!

Alrighty, kickin off my first blog, and excitingly enough it is following my very first pregnancy! I just thought it would be really cool to write down the different stages of my pregnancy not only for my friends and family to experience it with me, but so that I will be able to look back and remember all the wonderful and not so wonderful moments during this very special time. So right now I am 10.5 weeks pregnant and my due date is May 26th 2013 Not quite doing the whole sharing thing yet, so you will all see this blog at about my 12th week, but I just wanted to start documenting now! I just graduated from cosmetology school last week so right now I'm job searching, and by the time I have the baby I will have been at my job a good 6 or 7 months. So although the baby wasn't exactly planned, its all happening at the perfect time!

So I guess I will start off with the whole "finding out" part of this story. About 7 weeks ago, so when I was 3 weeks pregnant I was feeling extremely dizzy. I would be at school (and since I'm in Cosmetology I was standing all day) and I would feel like I was going to pass out, I was always light headed and that made me so nauseous. I had never ever felt like that before and it was happening every single day. So one night I was talking to Sammy and telling him how weird I felt and we typed all of the symptoms I was feeling into google, and we clicked on the first reliable link which pretty much said, you are probably pregnant. So we went and got a test and we went home and I took the test, while waiting it felt like hours an ETERNITY! I kept asking Sammy, "Has it been 3 minutes yet? Has it been 3 minutes yet!?!?" and he kept saying no, so after it had definitely been more than 3 minutes I took the first peek at the test and I saw one dark pink line and then after a couple seconds I noticed right there next to that bold line, a tiny faint pink 2nd line! I can not describe to you all the emotions I was feeling at that moment, I was shocked, scared, nervous, happy, joyous, scared, nervous, did I say shocked or nervous yet?! The first thing we did after that was just talk and freak out together and about 20 minutes later I took another test just to confirm and sure enough, it was positive. So I called my mom and my two best friends and told them all the news. They all took it so well, which of course I was nervous about, but everything turned out beautifully. Sammy and I are so lucky to have such amazing families and friends that love and support us through everything.  So from that first moment continuing to now Sammy and I have obviously gone through a roller coaster of emotions but we are so excited and so thankful for all of our support and of course our little baby in the making. :)

My positive tests!
